External Description:

Supporting our Head of Strategy and Improvement along with the various Project Owners, we have an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to assist with the overall project management framework, ensuring it is well-organised, clearly communicated and runs smoothly. You'll be responsible for assisting with project activities including documenting milestones, coordinating project schedules, meeting deadlines, keeping stakeholders on track and managing budget, issues, and risks. 

 

Roles and responsibilities 

  • Assist the Project Owner with documenting project milestones and ensure stakeholder signoff and CEO/COO sign off for each project is attained
  • Draft project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organisational goals
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Assist the Project Owner with the following:
    • ensure project deadlines are met and identify when changes to project timeline and milestones are required
    • identify project risks, issues and outcomes and report to Strategy & Business Improvement Manager to determine solutions and escalation path
    • ensure adherence to frameworks and documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
    • organising and facilitating regular project meetings
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials including agendas for meetings
  • Distribute minutes to all stakeholders following project meetings or workshops
  • Document and follow up with Stakeholders on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Assist the Strategy & Business Improvement Manager to provide regular updates and support to stakeholders to keep project on track
  • Responsible for ongoing monitoring of milestones for assigned projects in Monday.com (strategy system) and provide regular project status updates
  • Provide appropriate administrative support as and when needed

 

How to succeed

You're confident with strong written and verbal communication skills, an ability to multi task effectively and you have good time management with an eye for detail.

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Previous experiencing coordinating projects is essential
  • PMP or studying towards desirable
  • Previous experience in financial services is desirable but not essential
  • Must have Australian working rights (citizen or PR)
