OFFICE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR 

Location: Sydney

 

We're seeking an energetic go-getter to take full ownership of our office operations management. You'll provide operational support for all aspects of the office, from office fit-out to being the business main point of contact for maintenance, access, parking and tradespeople. 

As an active member of the social committee you'll support organising events from catering to venue and entertainment as well as providing travel support, taking care of expenses and organising accommodation.

 

Roles and responsibilities 

Office operations

      • Office fit-out and space allocation including seating ready for growth
      • Control the security access passes
      • Ordering kitchen supplies, stationery and catering
      • Maintenance of office equipment e.g. water cooler / photocopier / coffee machine
      • Liaison point for the building manager for maintenance, access or parking
      • Coordinating parking roster and access
      • Arranging couriers
      • Contact point and distribution of the mail
      • Order any new furniture and tradespeople
      • Support with corporate presentations as required for the business

Events

      • Active member of the social committee. Supporting the social committee to 

        organise events – including catering, venue, decorations, entertainment
      • AD hoc support for business events
      • Monthly birthday lunch / morning tea
      • End-of-month drinks

         

Travel support

      • Expenses as required
      • Liaising with hotels for corporate discounts
      • All travel for staff to events / meetings using the company’s preferred travel
        provider (Corporate Traveller)

 

How to succeed

You're confident with strong written and verbal communication skills and you have good time management with an eye for detail.

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • 2-3 years prior experience in an office support role is preferred but we welcome applications from any Marketing / Communication grads with an outstanding academic track record
  • Both events and travel management experience
  • Good MS-Office knowledge
  • Must have Australian working rights (citizen or PR)
